CEO and College Principal
Susanna Shelton BA(USA), MDiv(UK), RCHom

Before discovering homeopathy, Susanna worked in Medical Research at Johns Hopkins Medical School and the University of Virginia Medical Schools in the USA. Her life long interest in spirituality however, led her to Scotland where she completed a postgraduate degree in Theology at St Andrews University as well as postgraduate work at Harvard Divinity School. Midway through her theological training she was introduced to homeopathy.

This led to formal training in homeopathy with the National Center of Homeopathy (USA) and The College of Homeopathy in London. She recently completed a postgraduate training at the Hahnemann Institute of the Netherlands. Susanna has completed a Certificate in Adult Teaching (CAT) at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic.

Susanna's clinical focus is in the use of homeopathy for pregnancy and birth. She works closely with hospital and independent midwives and teaches special courses for healthcare professionals. Susanna has guest tutored for nursing and midwifery programmes in several New Zealand polytechnics.

She writes regular articles on homeopathy for various publications including Homeopathy Today (USA) and Homeopathy Newz of which she was a founding editor. Susanna is a registered member of the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths (NZCH). She is currently serving on the National Executive Committee of the NZCH.

Susanna has been a member of the NZQA Expert Panel for Homeopathy since 1994 and is a past chairwoman of the NZQA Advisory Group on Natural Therapies. She is passionately committed to establishing and maintaining high standards in homeopathic education. Susanna has been the principal of the Bay of Plenty College of Homeopathy (NZ) since 1996 and in 2005 took over as CEO and principal of the Sydney College of Homeopathic Medicine

Greig Follas, Dip Hom (UK), ADHom (NZ) RCHom

Before training as a professional homeopath Greig had a successful career in horticulture and business. Greig's interest in homeopathy led him to study intensively in New Zealand and overseas. After completing his Diploma in Homeopathy at the School of Homeopathy in Devon, Greig returned to New Zealand to practice.

Greig founded the Bay of Plenty College of Homeopathy in 1990 and was Principal of the College until 1995. In addition to his role as General Manager, Greig is also the Director of Echoes, the College's distance learning programme. As a senior lecturer Greig is actively involved in all aspects of the College's training programme including both teaching and assessment. His articles on homeopathy have appeared in Homœopathy Links and Homœopath.

Academic Advisor and Senior Lecturer
Alastair Gray DSH (UK), PCH (London), RSHom (UK), AHA (Au), BA Hons (Otago)

Alastair started training as a homeopath after completing a degree in History. He graduated from The School of Homoeopathy in Devon, UK and studied with Jeremy Sherr at the Dynamis School, before coming to work in Sydney.

Alastair runs a busy practice in both Australia and New Zealand. He is a senior lecturer, trainee practitioner supervisor and teaches at all college venues throughout New Zealand and Australia as well as overseas. He is director of the "Fusion" Post-Graduate course.

Alastair has a committment to quality research and has conducted a number of provings in Australia and New Zealand; including Kauri, White Tailed Spider, Box Jelly Fish, Blatta Orientalis and Moreton Bay Fig.

Senior Lecturer
Peter Tumminello N.D.,D.B.M.,Hon Dip Hom (Syd)

Peter is a homeopathic practitioner of 21 years and was a co-founder of the College. He is a teacher of 20 years and an experimenter with new homeopathic remedies. He has travelled Australia, New Zealand and Europe giving seminars and growing his own knowledge. His main contribution to homeopathic knowledge is his proving and clinical experience with gems, now presented in his ground breaking book ‘Twelve Jewels’

Senior Lecturer
David Levy ND

David has been involved in homeopathic training for over ten years. He practices in Five Dock and has a Masters Degree in Education. David has been educational advisor to the college for many years. He lectures in homeopathy at the college and is the Australian agent for the Homeopathic software package CARA.

Senior Lecturer
Ken D' Aran N.D. Hon, Dip Hom Med.

Ken has been teaching at the Sydney College since its inception. He lectures in homeopathy at the college, specialising in Applied Materia Medica and Observer Clinic. He has been given the Distinguished Service Award from the Australian Homoeopathic Association for his outstanding contribution to the profession in Australia. Ken has a busy practice in downtown Sydney and in Balmain.

Thomas Sam BSc BHMS MPH (Syd)

Thomas graduated from Mangalore University with a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery in 1992 and has a Masters of Health from UWS, Sydney in 1997. Thomas has a busy practice in Liverpool, Matraville and Dulwich Hill and teaches Integrated Clinical Studies and Symptomotology, Pathology and Diagnosis and is the Head of Medical Sciences at the College. He also operates a distribution for high quality Indian Homeopathic Medicines.
